Black Souls

Black Souls is a 2D adult RPG for players who like dark fantasy settings with monster girls and turn-based combat. Its tone is grim and irreverent, mixing horror imagery with parody humor.

Story

A mist-shrouded kingdom called the Lost Empire has fallen into ruin, its people twisted into monsters by an ancient curse. Endless war has followed, drawing heroes seeking glory into the wreckage. The player wakes among the ruins as a nameless undead, with no memory and no clear path, left to find out what became of the empire and what role they now have in it.

Gameplay

Players guide their undead protagonist through turn-based battles against the monster girls and beasts that now inhabit the Lost Empire, building strength and uncovering the world's fate along the way. Choices made during exploration and combat branch toward multiple endings, giving replays a different shape depending on who is fought, spared, or drawn into closer encounters. Combat sits alongside recurring adult scenes that grow out of these encounters rather than a separate menu-driven system.
