Overview
Black Empire is a text-based adult RPG for players who want a slow-burn corruption story with real financial and social stakes. The tone stays grounded rather than cartoonish.
Story
You play a 24-year-old African American man who worked hard through school until money troubles pushed him toward a scam that ended in a two-year prison sentence. Now released, he returns to the city where he grew up, trying to rebuild the life he had before everything fell apart.
Gameplay
Progress comes from building capital and influence in equal measure, using choices that shape both your finances and your standing with the people around you. Business ventures, physical confrontations, and city locations open up as you gain resources, giving you more ground to work with as your reputation grows.
