Between Two Fates is a 2D dating sim for players who want a fantasy harem with a mix of humor and drama. The tone leans warm at times and dark at others, following a rough start toward a much stranger new life.

Story

Betrayed after finally finding a place at a prestigious academy, the protagonist is left for dead in a dungeon — until a goddess offers a way out. Accepting her offer means leaving one world behind for another, one once ruled by the vanished Thalvarians. What follows is a larger journey through the kingdoms they left behind, where old secrets, rival races, and shifting alliances shape whether the protagonist unites their new world or bends it to his will.

Gameplay

Play centers on guiding the protagonist through his new world, building bonds with the women and creatures he meets while making choices that affect alliances and standing among the different races. Scenes unfold through animated 2D CGs and dialogue-driven encounters, with early moments in the story hinting at the voyeuristic and dominant undertones that run through several relationships. As the tribe grows, so does the protagonist's influence over the politics and desires shaping the fallen Thalvarian lands.
