Overview
Between Beasts is a furry visual novel for players who want a mix of dating sim romance and adult sandbox exploration. The tone stays light and playful throughout.
Story
After a strange accident pulls the protagonist out of his hometown, he wakes up in an unfamiliar world populated by beast-like inhabitants. The reasons behind his arrival are unclear, and uncovering them becomes part of settling into this new place, alongside the people he meets there.
Gameplay
Players guide the protagonist through this new world from a top-down sandbox view, moving between locations to meet and get to know its inhabitants. Conversations and repeated visits build familiarity with individual characters, opening up new scenes and story beats over time. Progress is tied to exploring the world and following each character's personal arc at its own pace.

What's new :
- A good chunk of Nora’s progression!

- Nora’s main scenes for this new update are now animated with Live2D.
- Pregnancy event for Nora! After knocking her up go to the store at day-time!
Important changes:
- Nora’s IDLE got a little visual rework. She won’t be moving her arms anymore, but now her sprites are fully rendered!
Fixes:
- Minor translation issues
- Fixed an error with Dragon lady scene in Nora's gallery
- Fixed an issue with Juno where you get the old store background after entering the maid event
- Nora's position on the screen being weird in some scenes got fixed
Known issues:
- You might notice that some animations have desynced sound effects. This is because we need to implement the audio using animation controllers, but we've run out of time to build the system as we intended. We'll leave it like this for now and push an update in a few weeks
