Story

A reckless young man dies before his time and lands in purgatory. Rather than accept a new life, he strikes a deal with the devil: his soul in exchange for continued existence as a spirit capable of possessing others. What he does with that power, and what it costs him, is left for the player to decide.

Gameplay

Choices are tracked through a karma system that shapes how the story unfolds and which of several endings the player reaches. Possession lets the player experience the world through different characters rather than following one fixed viewpoint. Exploration is rewarded, since hidden easter eggs scattered through the world unlock optional scenes not tied to the main path.
