Overview
Best Friends is a 3D visual novel for players who want a story-driven adult drama rather than heavy gameplay. Its tone stays personal and grounded, following two friends through a turning point in their lives.
Story
Two lifelong friends from Newcastle finish school and prepare to head off to university together. One of them has been hiding something significant from the other, and as the truth starts to surface, it puts their friendship to the test. The story follows how that secret changes things between them and everyone around them.
Gameplay
This is a kinetic-style visual novel with light interaction, built around reading through events rather than managing systems. Players can follow the story from either friend's point of view, seeing the same unfolding situation through two different sets of eyes.

- Not a huge update. If you have already downloaded and played through 0.2 or don't intend to play the "Jon" route, may not be worth updating. Just a fix for a jerky animation. Also reworked the dialogue a little to remove some of the use of acronyms.
- Also added a MAC O/S version, please note that this has not been tested as I do not have to the means to do so, so it's buyer beware with that one.
