Overview
Ashes of War is a visual novel for players who want military sci-fi romance with a harem structure. Its tone stays grounded and character-focused rather than comedic.
Story
A starship Captain caught in a century-long war between the Union and the Kingdoms chooses to break from the path laid out for him. His journey becomes the frame for the different personal stories and romances that unfold against the backdrop of the conflict.
Gameplay
The game unfolds as a mostly linear visual novel, following the Captain through story chapters and battle sequences tied to the war. Choices shape which romantic threads develop among the crew and allies he meets, with a gallery available to revisit key scenes and animations once seen.
