Overview
Ashes of Purity is a visual novel for players who like slow-burn corruption stories set in an everyday household. The tone stays quiet and deliberate rather than fast or comedic.
Story
Tyler is an outsider who doesn't live with the family he becomes entangled with, but his presence steadily changes how they see themselves and each other. What starts as small, harmless-seeming interactions builds into a deeper shift in the household's unspoken rules. The focus stays on reshaping beliefs and relationships rather than any single dramatic turn.
Gameplay
Players guide Tyler through conversations and choices that nudge each family member's attitudes and boundaries over time. Progress unfolds through dialogue-driven scenes rather than open exploration, with new characters and story branches added as the household's dynamics shift. Choices affect how individual relationships develop, including some optional scenes involving side characters.

- Meet Poppy , a sharp-tongued, no-nonsense girl, and her boyfriend Finn . Tyler will be spending some time with them. Optional gay content involving Finn is available for those interested—but if that’s not your thing, no worries. Poppy alone packs quite a punch.
- A New Threat & A Mysterious Face (Ep 5 Part 1)
- You’ll uncover limited but crucial intel on a mafia boss causing serious trouble for Koen. At his side is a mysterious girl—this is just your first encounter, but she’ll be back. This is only the beginning of Episode 5. More to come in the next update!
- Character Name Customization
- You can now customize the names of the main characters—available anytime from the menu.
- Note: Side characters in Ashes of Purity come with intense, fast-paced story arcs that resolve quickly—often within just a few episodes. But don’t worry: once their arc is over, they won’t disappear. You’ll still be able to find them through the interface and spend more time with them at your own pace. (Expanded interactions will be added in upcoming dynamic updates.)
