Overview

Artifice is a 3D visual novel for players who like theatrical intrigue mixed with harem romance. The tone leans dramatic and a little cynical, dressed up as spectacle.

Story

A young man searching for the brother who once understood him joins a secretive organization that offers help finding him, at a cost. Bound to their assignments, he takes on roles that require charm and cunning, culminating in a mission set at a grand competition held to unveil the Last Wonder of the World, where every performance carries a hidden risk.

Gameplay

Play follows the protagonist through his assigned missions, mixing story-driven choices with scenes of courtship as he navigates diplomats, rivals, and the women drawn to him. Renders and voice-free dialogue carry the narrative, while a menu lets players revisit unlocked outfits and track standing with each main girl as the story moves forward.

Revamped UI with new features:

1) Outfit System: All the girls' outfits you unlock as you play are now added to the main menu. This lets you swap them out and create a unique main screen with the girls.
2) Relationship System: Each main girl now has an affection meter showing her current interest in our MC. This meter will change based on your choices and just by progressing through the story.
3) Notification System: You'll now see a notification for every important event in the game. Whether it's a change in a girl's affection, unlocking a new outfit, or whatever else I come up with later.
4) Tooltip System (Glossary): There are now tooltips in the text for unusual or story-important words as you play. Hovering over them gives you a quick rundown so you know what's what.
Prologue 2025-07-11
The game is now available in two new languages: Chinese and Indonesian! Adding them took some time, but they’re finally here for you.
A special thanks to my two translators — they put in a lot of work so you could enjoy the game in your native language.
I’m also excited to share that German will be added soon! Once the translator finishes their work, I’ll include it in the main game version.
