Arcanamesis

Arcanamesis is a kinetic novel dating sim for players who want a darker take on fantasy corruption stories. The tone is deliberate and atmospheric, built for readers who enjoy slow-burn seduction over fast pacing.

Story

Fourteen Sealed Arcana have been drawn beyond the Veil as vessels, brought not to be judged but because something within them answered a call. The player's role is to conduct the Rite: applying pressure, opening the door to each vessel's Projection, and examining their fears and hidden hunger until the Arcana within can be awakened.

Gameplay

Progress unfolds through reading and choice rather than open exploration, with puzzle elements woven into the ritual structure. Each session focuses on drawing out a vessel's Potential, deepening Resonance through dialogue and small interactive moments until the Arcana responds. A broader meta-progression tracks how many Arcana the player has gathered across sessions, giving the ritual work a sense of accumulation over time.
