Overview
After Thunder is a 3D visual novel for players who want a Far East fantasy setting with a grounded, personal edge. The tone leans serious, following one man's rise from nothing rather than a light adventure.
Story
Born into poverty, the protagonist trained for years under a Master, a war hero, while living in the city of Toruram. A mission meant to lift him out of the lower caste and into the nobility sets his path forward, but the death of his Master changes everything he thought he understood about the road ahead, and darker forces begin to close in on him and the realm.
Gameplay
Players follow the protagonist through story-driven chapters, making choices that shape his path from outsider to warrior facing real threats. Progress moves through narrative scenes and decisions rather than open exploration, with the world of Toruram and its politics unfolding as the story advances.

- You've captured the thief, but if you've learned one thing since your Master died, it's that nothing is ever as simple as you wish it to be. Witness a night full of darkness and terror as you return back to Toruram.
- New Textbox System - You can now set the dialogue to just be White and it removes the textbox frame behind the text. Many people commented on not liking it, so we're testing this out. Go to Preferences and then click Alt. It can be a bit finicky, so make sure that in Preferences only Alt is selected.
