Overview

A Mirror's Curse is a text-based visual novel for players who want a slow-burn transformation story wrapped in high school drama. The tone leans reflective and personal rather than fast-paced.

Story

Ethan Yoon is a high school senior whose ordinary life ends after a chance encounter at the Autumn Festival. When he secretly records a conversation with a seer named Madame Serena, she curses him: every time he acts without seeing the consequences, his reflection shifts. As Ethan performs traditionally feminine actions, his body follows, pulling him into a senior year he never expected and a question of identity he can't avoid.

Gameplay

Play unfolds through text and choice, following Ethan through his final year of school as academics, friendships, and romance all react to the curse's slow pull. Decisions steer both the transformation itself and how Ethan responds to it, shaping which of several identity paths he settles into. Alongside the curse, day-to-day school life offers club activities, romantic pursuits, and events like the Culture Festival that mark the passage of time.
